Ok! How do we go about the task of Building Traffic with Content?
We all know that Building Traffic is the goal of every web entrepreneur whether
they run a massive website, blog, or one landing page. Right?
In my last post about Money Making, I said:
If you really want to make money online, the content that you deliver will dictate the trust you build. The trust that you build with the people that visit your site will enable you to attract traffic.
So what do I mean?
You and I will spend a massive amount of time and money attracting our target audience. As I’ve said before, our original and well-written content will be the lure that attracts readers.
Content is the key that will open the door to your traffic-building efforts. I could go on about keywords and search engine optimization here, but that’s for another day. Your content has to convince Your Target Audience to trust and believe everything you write.
Sure SEO plays a critical part, but Humans are Traffic. You must never forget this fact. A human being is going to judge your efforts and a human visitor will determine if your are successful, not the spiders and bots.
Your words will come from a place of knowledge, experience, and sincerity, or they will not get the desired effect. And that is to build traffic that trusts you enough to consume your products and services. After all, this blog is not about How to make quick money! It is about how to help you build a credible online website or blog.
Getting someone to trust you enough to give you their time and money is no-easy-feat! You absolutely will never get there if you don’t develop their trust!
You have to write original content and inject your knowledge, understanding, and Enthusiasm!
Yes. Enthusiasm! If you are not smitten with your products and services then who the hell else will be. Nobody! Traffic will come, traffic will go, but a human will not stay. People will only be excited if you are. You have to demonstrate your excitement in your content.
Let’s take this blog for example.
I love this topic and I am very passionate in my viewpoint. I believe that comes through in the words I write. But You decide that, not Me. The whole concept for my webshooz Brand is that I try to put myself in your shooz… oops, I mean shoes.![]()
Every time I write I ask myself: Will my readers like this article or will they LOVE it?
When I read the comments on this blog do I want to see: “I liked your post”?
Or do I want to see: “I loved your post”?
I want it to be love of course!
Ask yourself the same questions.
If you love what you are doing, it will shine through in your content and attract your target audience and they will trust what you say. Those people will build more traffic. Bring it On!![]()

Let’s just pretend that you are the target audience.
When you go to a blog, website, or any landing page on the web, unless you already have the url destination, you click on a link out of curiosity or the hope you will find what you seek.
As you survey the content you will decide if it is amazing, good, ok, baloney, or just a sales-pitch that you don’t wish to endure. Depending on the criteria, you make your choice to stay and read, or Split the Scene Man.![]()
If you decide to stay, you will judge every aspect, from the graphics to the way the page is structured, but the words will cause you to ask yourself serious questions.
Is the content honest, informative, insightful, and is it giving me
what I was seeking?
You will develop TRUST or you will Split the Scene Man.![]()
Ok! Now back to you.
If your visitor has trust in your content, they will stay!
That visitor is the Targeted Traffic you’ve been trying to attract. And guess what?
They may even make a positive comment or make a bookmark.
That visitor may even send your Trusted Content to a social site, or email it to a friend or colleague.
The Targeted Traffic that you have attracted with your Content is now saying that they Trust the Content enough to recommend it to others. Mission Accomplished!![]()

The HUGE pay-off from Great Content that Builds Trust that Builds Traffic is:
When you ASK YOUR VISITOR TO BUY a product or service from you,
THEY WILL BUY!
