I don’t know about you, but I spend lots of time checking out the Make Money Online blogs to see what advice the bloggers in this niche pass on to their readers about Marketing Your Blog or a website for that matter.
Let me just start off by saying that there is consensus on quite a lot of basic Blog Marketing Techniques and activities that, if followed, will push you up the SERPs. And that’s what we all need to Start Making Money Online. After all, the higher you rank in the search engines, for each of your target keywords, the more Organic Traffic you’ll attract.
According to some Make Money Online Bloggers, Getting Organic Traffic is the goal you should try to achieve. I can’t argue with that because that is exactly what I am up-to!
Then there are the bloggers who are obviously just trying to fill their pockets by pushing all kinds of junk which they recommend. Beware that promises of Immediate Traffic Guaranteed when you purchase that Amazing Ebook are usually false. To be quite frank about it, it’s total cowshit and most of the information contained in these products is available to anyone online free. You just need to know how to find it!
When a person comes online and tries to figure out How to Earn Money Online, they are in for an overwhelming and confusing experience for a couple of reasons.
- They will start by entering search terms that are very broad,
- People will, by nature, be attracted to form over function.
Obviously, there are exceptions, but these two realities represent opportunities for Internet Marketers to make lottsa’ cashola. Some do it by teaching, some do it by selling!
There are some excellent blogs that I have noticed in this Make Money Online Niche that, I believe, if studied can enable a completely green person to learn very quickly the steps that will make them successful in any Online Business.
So, I am going to lay out the blogs I think are really good and tell you why. I am not getting any monetary reward for providing any of these links, although it would be great if I got a bunch of quality backlinks, LOL, but I don’t expect or require anything. I want anyone that finds their way here to get to learn from the people I am learning from too. This is a place that everyone new to the web should check out. Court has loads of relevant information, well written, and easy to follow. If you want to understand how to use Keywords, he lays it all out in a great guide. He has a few free reports on his site and you should download them.
If you follow the information he presents and you take the steps he suggests, you will get off to a good start and escape some of the common mistakes people make when they are starting. The layout is clean and his blog is organized into modules so you can pick a topic and get a good head start. I highly recommend his site… it’s a must-read for anyone wanting to make money online.
I came across Grizzlys’ blog when I first became interested in doing a blog myself. I had built lots of websites in the past(early 90s) but had never done a blog and wanted to know where to start. What initially grabbed my attention was the style of the copy and the simplicity of the site. Grizzly calls it an Ugly Blog but I would have to disagree. It’s clean looking and the writing style is conversational.
When you’re in the Marketing Business online or offline, the first rule everyone you should adopt is KIS and Grizzlys’ blog exemplifies that rule. He has laid out each step a newbie needs to take to start-up. However, a word of caution. There is a huge amount of material covered due to the social traffic that participates and comments on his blog, so you need to start at the beginning and read everything in the order he suggests.
Leos’ blog is jam-packed with information that examines Internet Marketing from the ground-up. Granted it may not be in the top of the SERPs for Make Money Online, but it has a clean layout and Leos’ journalistic writing style enables me to trust the guy.
If you check his blog he includes pictures in his posts that are interesting choices and contribute to the user friendly feel. Again, I am a freak to the clean layout and this blog has a nice flow and is easy to read. Lots of good information about everything Internet Marketing.
Frank Carr has provided an amazing amount of great information for beginners in this blog. I am, as you can probably guess, not thrilled with the front page news style template he uses, but when the content is that good – who really cares. If you want to understand the basics of How To Make Money Online you must read his blog.
Frank covers quite a lot of information about the nuts and bolts on IM that other bloggers, either take for granted, or miss all together. And aside from the home page of the blog, each individual post page has a clean easy to read layout. You know, the way I like it.
These three blogs are not the only places to get great information online about How To Make Money Online but they all teach you How to Market Your Blog or website. As far as I am concerned, they are a must-read and you will understand what you need to do before taking the plunge into the blogosphere.
